To reduce the blade pitch to the geometrical value related to the aircraft instant speed, has the following effects:

  • The engine can supply all its full power
  • The blade section works closer to its highest yielding
  • The trust of the propeller increase strongly

It follows that take-off reduction can range from 30% to 60% of the original take-off by fixed pitch propeller

It follows that climb rate increase can range up to +80% of the original climb rate by fixed pitch propeller

In fixed pitch propeller or ground adjustable propeller we have a narrow window (aircraft speed / engine rpm) of good efficiency of the blade profile.
In variable pitch propeller, the pitch can be adjusted to high efficiency for all the flight condition envelope.
In other words, the in flight-variable pitch propeller replace to a set of propellers having different pitch and available each one at the right moment.
The fuel consumption is achieved as effect of the blade efficiency increase.
The fuel saving can range up to 25% for the same flight conditions.
For the flight school the propeller cost can be recovered in 2 years.

The take-off decrease and the climb rate increase available by the in-flight variable pitch propeller, reduce the time of the flight in most critical condition.
It follows the increase of the airworthiness condition

Easy installation

The propeller is delivered aligned and dynamically balanced ready to be installed.
The installation is designed to be accomplished in short time by any competent layperson.

1) Insert the hub base into the flange.
(only for Electric hub) connect the 2 wires in advance

2) Insert the special washers and the self-blocking nuts.
Tighten the nuts

3) Insert the bearing set into the blade seat and fasten each blade to its seat.

4) Secure the blades by using the locking plates and special screws.
