The governor ensure the
best propeller’s efficiency
in all flight conditions

Main features of Dual Mode governor are:

Classic “constant speed” mode, where pilot is selecting the RMP target by the rotating selector (CNS)
Automatic “MDP driven” mode, where the engine rpm target is obtained by the pressure difference (MDP) between the engine manifold and the atmosphere static pressure (for aspired engines) or MAP reading for turbocharged engines. This pressure difference is changing with the throttle position or with the airplane altitude. In other words, when the engine power is modified or when the altitude is changed (only engine power is needed for turbocharged engines)

In this fully automated operating mode, the pilot does not need to take action on the propeller. The use of the embedded engine diagrams ensures the achievement of the best efficiency of the engine – propeller couple.

Manual mode control is available on the panel. It bypasses all electronic systems and acts directly on the propeller for the highest level of security.
